Scott Hafetz was born and raised in the Atlantic City area. He has been an independent health and life insurance agent for over twenty years. For more than fifteen years he has been a General Agent (GA) for Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, a distinction which is awarded to only a handful of agents who meet very stringent criteria relative to business volume and quality of performance.

Scott’s hands-on approach and customer service oriented philosophy has resulted in his agency experiencing tremendous growth. He now employs over 35 full-time employees comprised of licensed sales agents and support staff. In order to accommodate his continuing growth, Scott relocated the company in June of 2005 from Pleasantville to a completely renovated, state-of-the-art facility in Linwood that utilizes the latest web-based agency software and systems. Since then Scott has expanded into Northern New Jersey, opening an office in Metro Park (Iselin) in June 2010.

Under Scott’s leadership, the agency has expanded into larger markets, but continues to serve companies of all sizes, including the mom and pop businesses upon which the agency was built. His insistence of product knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction at any cost has made for a successful transition into the larger market.

Scott is a family man who is active in his community and he encourages his employees to do the same. He has a wife, Kathy, who is a registered nurse, and three children, Jordon, Brianna and Madison. Scott is an active participant in various charities. He presently serves as Vice President of Atlantic Prevention Resources, a non-profit charitable organization, and he serves as Chairman of the Board for the Gilda’s Club of South Jersey.

Jackie has been with Hafetz & Associates since March of 2008. She began her career here as a Medical Billing Advocate and later became an Account Executive. As an Account Executive, she handles new enrollment, additions and deletions, and much more. She makes sure that the flow of information between subscribers, consultants, and insurers runs smoothly. Prior to joining Hafetz & Associates, Jackie worked in the medical/health field for 10 years. She has a degree in Business from Rowan University.

Frank was born and raised in the coal region of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Management from Bloomsburg State College in 1982, relocated to Southern New Jersey, and spent 33 years in Atlantic City’s Food and Beverage/ Hospitality industry. Frank’s customer service experience and career change brought him to Hafetz and Associates in March 2016 where he is a Medicare Account Representative.

Jennifer grew up in Egg Harbor Township and currently resides in Mays Landing, NJ. She joined the Hafetz & Associates team in 2009 and is a Medical Billing Specialist. She brings over 20 years of extensive office and customer service experience to the table and sincerely enjoys helping clients understand how their medical claims processed and assisting with provider billing issues.

As a licensed insurance agent in NJ and PA, Ellen joined Hafetz & Associates in July 2015, bringing over 20 years’ experience within Employee Group Benefits.  She recently relocated from the Philadelphia area to shore area.  With her insurance industry knowledge and her experience in assisting employers and employees with their benefit needs, she is a welcome addition to the growing Medicare Department at Hafetz & Associates. 

Tom Crowell is a Group Benefits Specialist with Hafetz and Associates. He has 15 years experience in group medical, dental, life and disability for groups of all sizes. He has a BA from Penn State University and lives in Forked River with his wife and two children. Tom believes in getting to know his clients thoroughly and give them the information to make the best decision for their company and their employees.

Carolyn was born and raised in Egg Harbor Township where she still resides with her family. Carolyn brings to Hafetz and Associates many years of experience working in the health insurance industry as a Claims Manager for AtlantiCare Administrators Inc. and Prudential. Prior to coming to Hafetz and Associates, Carolyn had worked as an Independent Agent assisting clients with life insurance and supplemental products. She is licensed in health and life. Her vast knowledge of insurance and her excellent background in service is what will benefit her clients at Hafetz and Associates.

Bob was born and raised in Absecon, NJ. He attended the local school system and graduated from Richard Stockton College in 2001 with a degree in Criminal Justice. Bob has worked as an agent for a supplemental insurance company for 5 years with 2 as a manager. Bob has been a licensed consultant in Life and Health for 7 years and looks forward to continuing his career servicing his clients with exceptional knowledge and customer service.

Linda was born and raised in Vineland NJ.  She has worked in the Health Insurance field for more than 25 years.  She is married to her husband for over 28 years.  Before she began her career with Hafetz and Associates, she worked for insurance companies and facilities and has seen the insurance industry from both sides.

Paul has more than 25 years of outstanding achievement in the areas of accounting and financial administration. He graduated with honors from Drexel University in 1982 with a B.S. in Business Administration. In 1985 he received his certified public accountant’s (CPA) license, and in 1996 he earned a Master of Business Administration from Widener University. He has been with Hafetz & Associates since 1999.

Joe is a new addition to Hafetz and Associates, joining our team in late 2010. He brings with him his experience as a Supervisory Agent with a life insurance company. He is eager to use his vast knowledge and experience to provide excellent service to his prospective clients. Joe was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He currently resides in Monmouth County with his lovely wife and his 2 children.

Paul has been a resident of Cape May County for over 30 years. He began his career with Hafetz and Associates in October 2007. Paul will be using his many years in the service industry to provide your business the highest customer satisfaction available. He is licensed in both Health and Life and is looking forward to helping local clients with the service while providing the right insurance products that fit their needs.

Carrie joined Hafetz and Associates in July of 2016 after completing her state insurance exam.  She has 13 years of experience with customer service and medical billing. She is a perfect fit for Medical Billing Advocate, Individual Sales Consultant, and Claims. She lives in Egg Harbor Twp. with her two sons Jason and Corey. She’s a big Boston Bruins fan.

Jordon was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. He received a BS from Rutgers University New Brunswick. He has spent his entire sales career at Hafetz and Associates as a member of the Medicare Team, having previously worked in television production. He enjoys being part of a strong team dedicated to assisting clients as they transition to Medicare, helping them navigate all their options, and serving as their advocate once they enroll.

Lisa has been with Hafetz and Associates since January 2005. Due to her experience and hard work, she has been promoted to Account Executive Supervisor. In addition to performing duties of an Office Manager, Lisa is responsible for training, coaching, troubleshooting and supervisory functions of the Account Executives. Lisa received her license in Health and Life Insurance in December 2005.

Michael is an Insurance/Benefits Specialist who can assist clients in all insurance areas including health, life, disability, and long-term care. He has been associated with Hafetz & Associates for over 17 years. Along with many years of experience, Michael takes great pride in his patience, timely returning of clients’ phone calls and messages, and plain English explanations. Michael resides in Margate with his son.

Sean has been with Hafetz & Associates since March of 2006 and is Sales Manager. Sean’s focus has been working together with business owners and managers to come up with creative solutions to get the best value for their companies. As the Sales Manager, Sean works closely with newly hired consultants within Hafetz & Associates to mentor them on how to educate their clients, be creative, and meet their client’s service needs. He is licensed in Health, Life, and Disability and welcomes the opportunity to help businesses with their benefits.

Steve joined Hafetz & Associates in 2015.  He has a BS degree from Penn State University and 28+ years of experience in the IT industry, the last 20 with IBM.  He brings to Hafetz & Associates many years of experience in sales and marketing in the greater Philadelphia/Southern NJ area.  Steve has made a recent career transition and hopes to deliver high customer satisfaction by assisting clients in effectively navigating the new changes/challenges that are taking place in the insurance industry.  He is licensed in health and life in New Jersey.  He currently resides in Erial with his wife and youngest son.

Nicole Nardi was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. She received her BS from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Nicole is a licensed agent in Life & Health and has several years of customer service and mortgage industry experience. She came to Hafetz to be a part of the successful Medicare Department and is eager to learn and grow with such a dedicated team.

Ben has been a sales representative with Hafetz & Associates since 2003. Prior to joining the company, he worked in Atlantic City’s restaurant industry for 15 years. He currently resides in Linwood, NJ with his two children, Emily and Jacob. Ben credits his success to his strict adherence to the company’s motto: “provide excellent customer service and unique ideas to your clients.”

Kiara joined Hafetz and Associates in 2014.  She has prior customer service experience with the Press of Atlantic City and the Flagship Resort in Atlantic City.  She is bilingual in Spanish, holds an active real estate license, and has earned an associate’s degree from ACCC.  Kiara is also just a few credits shy of earning a degree in international business from Richard Stockton College.  She was born and raised in South Jersey and currently resides in Egg Harbor Township.

Since January 2003, Ron has been associated with Hafetz & Associates specializing in Group Health, Individual and Group Life and Disability, as well as Long-term Care insurance products. Customer satisfaction and long term business relationships are his top priorities. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Ron has a B.S. Degree in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.

Chanita joined Hafetz & Associates in May of 2006. As an Account Executive, she handles new enrollments, additions and deletions, and much more. She makes sure that the flow of information between subscribers, consultants and insurers runs smoothly. She received her license in health in September of 2006. Prior to joining Hafetz & Associates, Chanita worked nearly fifteen years in the Atlantic City casino industry.

Originally from Westchester County, New York, Maria moved to the South Jersey area in 1998. She is a graduate of State University of New York, College at Oswego with a Business Administration degree. Over the past 20+ years she has worked in various industries, allowing her to gain experience in sales, convention management, marketing and public relations, customer service, accounting, and most recently human resources. She began with Hafetz & Associates in 2013 as a Medical Billing Advocate and has since moved on to become Medical Billing Advocate Supervisor.

Everett brings 30 years of accounting experience from both public accounting and the private sector. He completed three years of college at West Virginia University and through an internship program graduated with honors from Rowan University. In 1988 he was licensed by the State of New Jersey as a Certified Public Accountant(CPA).  He has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants(AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants(NJSCPA). Everett resides in Brigantine, NJ with his wife Sandy.

Ty Pitman was raised in Atlantic County and now resides in Camden County. He has spent his career working in Southern NJ and the Greater Philadelphia area. A graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Business/Marketing and two accompanying minors, Ty has always made his clients a priority throughout his professional life. Ty is a family man who believes in creating long-term relationships through his consultative approach with his clients/partners.

Jim Powell lives in Northern New Jersey and works out our offices located in Iselin New Jersey. Jim started with Hafez and Associates in February 2013. He brings twenty two years of experience with him. Jim’s specialty is group benefits including health, life, dental and long term disability. He is also has a working knowledge in voluntary benefits and is experienced in individual life and disability insurance. He believes in educating each and every prospect and client so that they can make an informed decision when it comes to how they are going to spend their money. He lives in Verona New Jersey with his wife and five beautiful children.

Amanda attended Montclair State University and graduated with a degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. She brings her ambitious outlook and professional approach to Hafetz and Associates Medicare Department. Amanda’s main focus is to educate Medicare eligible clients on the various options that are available to them. Her background as an Executive Assistant had provided her with the knowledge and comfort of multitasking and the enthusiasm to learn more.

Sue brought her 24 years of business experience to Hafetz and Associates in early 2007. She has specialized over the years in the areas of procurement, customer service and problem solving. This experience has lead to holding multiple positions within Hafetz and Associates, such as Medical Billing Advocate Supervisor and Office Manager. She currently is Director of Operations.

Kevin Schaffer joined Hafetz & Associates in November 2005. He has a BA in Public Relations and Economics and has found success in various capacities throughout his professional career. He communicates and relates well with others and welcomes the opportunity to learn and grow within the company.

Colleen joined Hafetz & Associates in June 2010 as a Medical Billing Advocate. She has since become an Administrative Assistant to Ben Newton, a Hafetz Group Benefits Specialist. Prior to joining Hafetz & Associates, Colleen had 6 years of customer service and managerial experience. In December of 2011, she earned an associates degree in Business Administration from ACCC.

Michael Venditto has been with Hafetz and Associates since 2002, serving clients throughout New Jersey. He brings expertise in Group Life, Health and Disability issues as a former Marketing Coordinator of Horizon BCBS in Newark, NJ. Michael believes in building long term relationships with his clients. He feels that it is his responsibility as an insurance agent to consult with and educate his clients in health care issues and leave them with the satisfaction that they are properly protected.

Renae joined Hafetz & Associates in 2014 as a Medical Billing Advocate. She has since become an Administrative Assistant to Kevin Schaffer, a Hafetz Group Benefits Specialist. She has 10 years of customer service experience and 8 years of experience in the insurance industry. She was born and raised in South jersey and currently resides in Upper Township, NJ.
